The exploration of the infinite surface of colours, the matter of colour and the differences of colour in their various manifestations, form the focus of her painterly work. This aims at the perception of colour and its intrinsic value, as well as its sensual and material presence. The colour, freed from any representational function, is autonomous condenses inwards and releases forces. The results are streams and energies that make painting perceptible and tangible as a sensual experience. Beyond perception, however, the paintings can also evocatively transport points of view to themes of the time within the context in which they are created. A selection of these can now be seen at the Kulturbahnhof in Kassel.

Das Erforschen der unendlichen Oberfläche von Farben, Farbmaterie und Farbdifferenzen in ihren unterschiedlichen Erscheinungsformen bilden den Schwerpunkt ihres malerischen Schaffens. Dieses zielt auf Wahrnehmung der Farbe und deren Eigenwert, sowie auf ihre sinnliche und materiale Präsenz ab. Die Farbe, befreit von jeglicher Darstellungsfunktion ist autonom, verdichtet sich nach innen und setzt Kräfte frei. Das Ergebnis sind Ströme und Energien, die Malerei als sinnliches Erleben wahrnehmbar und erfahrbar machen. Die Bilder können jedoch über die Wahrnehmung hinaus auch Standpunkte zu Themen der Zeit innerhalb des Kontextes in dem sie entstehen, evozierend transportieren. Eine Auswahl davon ist jetzt im Kulturbahnhof in Kassel zu sehen.
