The gallery at KulturBahnhof Kassel is 60 m2 in size and can be viewed from two sides, which makes it particularly suitable for sculptures, installations and performances. Since only one wall can be used to hang pieces, paintings and photographs are best presented as part of an installation.
Any artists who would like to make the exhibition space accessible to the public must make the necessary organisational arrangements themselves and assume all responsibility for doing so.
Thursdays are reserved for exhibition set-up, while works to take down the displays are scheduled to take place on Wednesdays of each week.
Opening nights are recommended to take place on Fridays from 19:00. Any other events may be held at the exhibiting artists’ discretion.
No alterations must be made to the gallery space. The premises must be returned clean and free from any damage whatsoever.
The exhibiting artists must refrain from disturbing or causing inconvenience of any kind to other tenants and/or railway passengers. This applies in particular to nuisance caused by noise and/or smells.
No discriminatory content whatsoever must be displayed. The exhibiting artists are responsible for all content shown.
All use of the premises is subject to the signing of a free-of-charge rental contract with the exhibiting artist(s) and the collection of a deposit.
